For years, we've heard about the aging agricultural population. Recently, retiring elderly farmers are leaving behind more rice paddies than young farmers can manage. To connect Japan's rice farming to the future, the next five years—while veterans still support us—are critical. We will revolutionize rice farming through sales channel development, talent recruitment, business planning, fundraising, capital investment, and efficiency improvements.

Rice and rice farming built the foundation of this nation. When I started visiting farmers two years ago, every conversation was filled with a sense of stagnation. No matter how much wisdom, experience, technology, or effort—farming just wasn't profitable. Rice farming had become an industry everyone avoided. But rice farming has nothing but a future. Talking with our team members and surrounding farmers, I naturally came to feel this. Infrastructure development, large-scale operations, labor savings, and export expansion are steadily progressing. Profitable rice farming is almost here. Japan's rice farming potential is undoubtedly the world's best. We will build a world-leading rice enterprise.
